Executive visit by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master to the Court of Aelle
On Saturday the 25th of June the Court of Aelle No 25 was honoured by a visit from the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW.Bro. Mark Donovan, KAG. The meeting was held at Herstmonceaux, where we received a very warm welcome from the Brethren of the Court.

Executive visit by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master to the Court of Aelle The Court was opened by the Worshipful Master, W.Bro. John Fuller. The Deputy Provincial Grand Marshal, W.Bro. Duncan Maguire, was admitted and advised the Worshipful Master that the Deputy Provincial Grand Master was in the ante room and demanded admission to the Court. The Deputy Provincial Grand Master entered in procession with several of Provincial Grand Officers, was presented with the gavel and took the Chair.

The Deputy Provincial Grand Master was then saluted with 5 under the direction of the Deputy Provincial Grand Marshal. The Deputy Provincial Grand Master said how good it was to be visiting the Court of Aelle again, introduced the Provincial Team and vacated the Chair.

Somewhat unusually the Court of Aelle meets on a Saturday morning, and on this occasion the Deputy Provincial Grand Master and his retinue enjoyed both an Installation and Instruction ceremony.

A ballot was taken for Bro. Steven Roy Davis, which proved in his favour. Brother Steven was instructed into the Order by the Worshipful Master and his Officers in a warm and sincere manner. He was then heartily congratulated by Deputy Provincial Grand Master and welcomed into the Order. W.Bro. John Fuller was then declared Worshipful Master for a second year.

After the regular business of the Court had been completed the Court was closed and as the centre does not have dining facilities, we had the rare treat of the lunchtime festive board at a local hostelry, The Bull's Head, Boreham Street, Needless to say an exceptional atmosphere prevailed and was enjoyed by all.
