News:
A Candidate for The Rood at Sudtone Sari Court
Thursday the 26th May was a busy afternoon for The Rood at Sudtone Sari Court. Not only was it their Installation meeting, but they also had a Candidate for Instruction.

The meeting was opened by the Worshipful Master, W.Bro. David Grimmer, who welcomed everyone to the Court. Our Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW.Bro. Mark Donovan, KAG, a member of the Court, was saluted with five under the direction of the Marshal, W.Bro. Martin Smith. VW.Bro. Mark responded by thanking everyone for attending to make this a special day for the Court.

A ballot was taken for Bro. Simon Triptree, which proved in his favour. The Worshipful Master invited W.Bro. Satish Dhir to assist him in the Ceremony of Instruction, along with W.Bro. Chris Eley, Provincial Marshal, who acted as Senior Warden and gave the Emblems of Mortality.

The next item on the agenda was to Install Bro. Len Hillier as Worshipful Master. After the ceremony our Deputy Provincial Grand Master congratulated Simon and Len, as well as the Court for a most enjoyable couple of ceremonies.

The Court was then closed and after some photos were taken, we retired to the bar for refreshments before sitting down to a most enjoyable meal at the Sutton Masonic Hall.
