The Annual Assembly of Provincial Grand Court of Sussex will be held on Saturday, 2nd April 2022 – at 11.00 AM at Nutfield Masonic Centre, Nutfield Lodge, Nutfield Road, Redhill, Surrey RH1 4ED.
A total of 19 brethren attended the meeting, which included RW Bro Lionel’s predecessor Past Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Brian Prevett GCAG, and three other visitors from within the Province.
The visitors were warmly welcomed by W Bro John Fuller, Worshipful Master, who was re-elected Master and appointed and invested his Officers for the ensuing year.
The Provincial Grand Master invested W Bro Rick Prior and W Bro Eyo Nkune as Active Provincial Officers for the current year.
RW Bro Lionel congratulated his Deputy, VW Bro Mark Donovan on his promotion to Past Grand Sword Bearer, W Bro Colin Hartley on his promotion to Past Junior Grand Deacon, W Bro Bernard Marchant as an active Grand Burgh, and W Bro Jeremy Griffin as Past Grand Captain of the Guards. He was also pleased to congratulated W Bros Colin and Bernard on their being honoured by the Grand Master as Knights of the Ancient Order of King Alfred the Great at the recent Annual Meeting of Grand Court in October last year.
15 brethren later enjoyed an excellent Fish and Chips lunch at The Bull’s Head before departing in peace and harmony.
