A New Year Message from the ProvGM

Dear Brethren, I trust that you and your families are safe & well and have enjoyed a peaceful Christmas within your own family 'bubbles'.

It has been an extremely difficult time for all of us since last March and has left us all missing our Masonic gatherings and the enjoyment and conviviality of post meeting social activities.

Although some Masonic meetings were held between July and September, we in the Masonic Order of Athelstan did not hold any meetings and will not be meeting again until at least March this year. A move which, particularly for those of us in the vulnerable category will be of great comfort - especially as we have recently seen an escalation in the spread of the virus.

Whilst I have endeavoured to maintain contact with many of you throughout the Province I very much look forward to when we shall all be able to meet safely again. In the meantime, I thank you all for your continued support of the Province in 2020.

Please let me know if I can be of any assistance to you, or if you would just like to have a chat, please feel free to give me a call.

As some of you will know, my wife and I moved house from Ashtead to Lightwater in late November and my new contact details are noted in the heading above.

With my kindest regards and best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year; let’s hope we shall have a great 2021 and I look forward to meeting together as soon as possible.

Stay safe!
