The Deputy Provincial Grand Master entered in procession with the Provincial team, was presented with the gavel, took the Chair and was saluted with 5 under the direction of the Provincial Grand Marshal. The Deputy Provincial Grand Master said how good it was to be visiting the Court of Sion Abbey and introduced the Provincial team, thanking them for their support.

Varinder Dhir to act as Worshipful Master and W.Bro. Chris Eley to act as Senior Warden. W.Bro. George then offered himself as the Candidate.
The Ceremony of Instruction was conducted in an excellent manner by W.Bro. Varinder and the Officers of the Court, with the assistance of W.Bro. Satish Dhir who assisted with the Circle of Nine.
The Court then received a talk written by W.Bro. Gordon Smith entitled ‘Architecture and the Medieval Man’. As W.Bro. Gordon was unable to attend this was delivered in a most interesting manner by Bro. Martin Beard.
Afterwards the Deputy Provincial Grand Master congratulated Bro. Martin on the way he delivered the talk, and also on being awarded the Chevalier Ramsey Lecture Prize for 2019 for his lecture at the Installation Meeting of the Court of Sion Abbey on 'Rosetta Stone'.
