Visit to The Court of the South Saxons No 60 Monday, 7th November 2016
On the 7th November 2016 I visited The Court of the South Saxons No 60.
Well, what a treat we all had with the installation of the new WM for the Court W Bro Reginald William Beldam and many congratulations on your being installed.
The work by the Installing Officer, W Bro Malcolm Brown, went well and I'm sure W Bro Reg was suitably impressed.
The new Worshipful Master then appointed and invested his officers for the year and they all seemed very happy and I wish them well for a successful and enjoyable year in office.
The Deputy Provincial Grand Master presented Bro Peter Brooks with his Grand Court Certificate and Bro Peter and the Brethren enjoyed the presentation.
A paper on "King Alfred the Great" was given by W Bro Derek Oliver PPJGW was very well received and the brethren enjoyed the presentation. A very big 'well done' to W Bro Derek.
After the meeting, the brethren were treated to an excellent meal at the festive board which was great value at only £12 per head - amazing!
Hearty congratulations to all the members for a great day, plus a big thank you to W Bro David Guildford, Provincial Deputy Grand Marshal, my escorting officer, and the other Provincial officers who attended to support me on the visit.
I wish you all well and will see you soon.
W Bro Mike Ellis. KSM. PSGD
Deputy Provincial Grand Master
